Karl Robert Pracht was a German composer. Pracht was a music teacher at the Humboldt Gymnasium in Karlsruhe for more than twenty years. He published many music education works for piano, strings and brass. Robert Pracht was a also conductor of various men’s choirs all over Baden and he composed more than 200 traditional choir songs.

His Opus 15 of Violin Etudes are one the easiest etudes for violin I have found so far, so I think it’s perfect for beginners. I don’t like them as much as Wohlfahrt but they are certainly easier to start with. Below you can find my recordings of some of these etudes.
